Action Plans

"An Action Plan is simply a thoughtfully recorded list of all the tasks that your team needs to finish to meet a goal or an objective. Action plans differ from “To Do” lists in that they focus on the achievement of a single goal and gather together all of the careful planning for that goal. Action Plans make your work more intentional." (MO SW-PBS 2013-2014 Tier 1 Workbook page 39).

Teams create action plans for all tiers based from various data sources obtained throughout the year such as, Benchmarks of Quality, Benchmarks of Advanced Tiers, Suspension data, Office Referrals, intervention data, attendance..., gain staff commitment to the plan, and then monitor it four times a year.

Below are example action plans from St. Louis County Schools. Come back soon to view more at all three tiers!
