Teacher-Student Interactions

Research has shown that when behavior is acknowledged it is more likely to occur again and no good behavior should be taken for granted or it may decline, regardless of the student's age. We also know that to support and manage student behavior all teachers must apply active supervision techniques in and out of the classroom, as well as have strategies to prevent and de-escalate inapprorpiate behaviors.

Below are various resources you can use to develop, review, and/or reflect on the teacher/student interactions in your setting.
